West Ham vs Crystal Palace

It shouldn’t be too surprising for anyone who follows the Premier League that this game featuring a David Moyes-managed West Ham team and Roy Hodgson-managed Crystal Palace team projects to be a low event. The senior citizen managers have always focused on resolute defending and timely scoring, and this season that has not changed one little bit.
Only the three newly-promoted teams, Luton (12), Sheffield United (11) and Burnley (10), have scored fewer Premier League goals than Crystal Palace (13) so far this season. Although this style of football has seen Palace maintain a comfortable cushion between themselves and relegation, it’s not exactly giving tons to cheer about. In fairness, injuries have played a part for the Eagles, and will again in this fixture. Eberechi Eze has been Palace’s best-attacking player all year and he’ll miss this match, which for a team that already struggles massively to create chances, creating only 1.18 expected goals per 90 minutes.
