Crunch the numbers, run the projections, monitor injuries, and shop for the best line once a perceived edge has been identified.

Any thought that the issues in Tampa Bay would end with the return of Andrei Vasilevskiy has been proven a fool, because despite winning Vasilevskiy’s first start back from injury Tampa has dropped the following 4, including 3 that were started by the Russian netminder. So while the Lightning did an admirable job of weathering the storm while waiting for Vasilevskiy to recover from his back surgery, amassing a 9-6-5 record, the underlying numbers have never looked all that encouraging.
