After a pair of losses on Monday Night, PrimeTime Coochie returns for another PrimeTime game, and while we tasted defeat on Monday two times over, the process feels like it’s working. They don’t pay you a single dime for class calls and almost winners, but when it comes to these longshot SGPs, you’ve just got to take something positive from being right on the narrative or script you foresee unfolding. So with vibes high, and confidence still surging through my bones, I won’t waste another second of your time pontificating.

Here’s The Why…..
Brandon Cooks Under 3.5 Receptions x Cooks Over 60 Receiving Yards x Cooks Anytime Touchdown
I am not an innovator in this SGP game, but I take no shame in standing on the shoulders of giants. One of the few ways you can truly beat the VIG in these parlays is to utilize the correlation pricing in your favor by targeting negatively correlated legs that are more likely to happen than the sportsbooks can accurately price for each player. In my mind, burners like Brandon Cooks fit this mold pretty well, particularly in this matchup against a Giants’ secondary that leaves much to be desired. The raw counting numbers tell a generous story through 3 games, but the reality is, if the pass rush doesn’t get home, the G-Men are going to give up big plays.
Through 3 games this season, Cooks has pulled in 8 catches on 15 targets, but more importantly, he is not being used like a possession receiver in the slightest. So far this season Cooks has an average depth of target of more than 10 yards, and while Jalen Tolbert is seemingly taking over the WR2 spot in the Cowboys’ offense, Cooks is going to be the guy McCarthy is looking to scheme some big play shots for. Despite bringing in only 1 catch of 20+ yards this season, in each of the last 5 years Cooks has had 10+ catches of 20+ yards, and while perhaps there’s an argument he’s lost a step —- I’m of the believer in Cooks’ ability to still get open down the field. We saw DeSean Jackson maintain that big play threat deep into his career, and while Cooks isn’t Jackson, he should find some green grass this evening. Particularly because Deonte Banks, who I imagine will be charged with slowing down Cook, has not looked very good in his time in the league. Through 3 games this season, Banks’ has PFF grade is 49, and he’s allowed 12 catches when he’s the primary defender.
